New Neon Neon album: details of Praxis Makes Perfect revealed
Published on January 24th, 2013 | Jonny Abrams
New Neon Neon album update! Their John DeLorean-based 2008 album Stainless Style still sounds as flat-out superb as it did when it came out, so it’s with no little slavering anticipation that Rocksucker greeted today’s news that their second LP Praxis Makes Perfect – apparently based on “the life and times of [obscure Italian publisher] Giangiacomo Feltrinelli, who died in highly suspicious circumstances in 1972” – will see the light of day on 29th April via Lex Records.
Comprised of Super Furry Animals legend Gruff Rhys and gifted producer Boom Bip, Neon Neon were precisely this ace last time around…
…so there’s no reason to think they won’t be this time. On a day that also revealed details of a new Flaming Lips album and a frankly breath-taking Primavera line-up…well, 2013 is really taking musical shape.
To whet your appetite, why not read our in-depth interview with Super Furry Animals electronics guru Cian Ciaran from last year.
Praxis Makes Perfect will be released on 29th April through Lex Records.
