IT’S BEACH BOYS MONTH ON ROCKSUCKER!
Published on June 18th, 2012 | Jonny Abrams
It was only last November that we were treated to the release of what basically amounts to SMiLE in its original form, and now this month has seen the release (on this writer’s birthday, no less) of a brand new Beach Boys album! Suffice it to say, June 2012 is Beach Boys month on Rocksucker, so here is our review of the new LP…

…and here is our in-depth and somewhat hallucinatory review of SMiLE…
Review: The Beach Boys – SMiLE
As a result of getting stuck preparatorily back into their great records of yesteryear, Rocksucker dipped the house wick and got scribbling about our love for ten albums by The Beach Boys that we feel to be grossly overlooked outside of their admittedly still-sizeable fan base (which basically qualified every LP for consideration bar Pet Sounds and SMiLE). Click on each album to read our hysterical gibberish about it…
1: Surfer Girl
2: All Summer Long
3: Today!
4: Summer Days (and Summer Nights!!)
5: Smiley Smile
6: Wild Honey
7: Friends
8: Sunflower
9: Surf’s Up
10: Holland
I hope you enjoy reading all this crap as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Signed, A Beach Boys fan
